Stages of Social Development

Social development refers to how a child interacts, engages, and relates to peers and adults. Social development also involves learning skills that contribute to impacting the family, school, and community in a positive way. Some of the skills associated with social development include sharing with others, showing sympathy, communicating with others, and collaborating on activities.
